On March 2, 2023, we finally got together to do what we have been doing every Thursday night virtually since 2021, having Bible conversations. We watched Priscilla Shirer discuss how she studies the Bible and shares it with others in a cozy room in Brooklyn, NY. It was perfect.
We had a welcoming atmosphere, a gracious host (thanks, Nicole), prayer, love, healthy and delicious snacks, a great video, live streaming, and the presence of God. It was simple and small, but it was everything to interact with these fantastic women face to face.
My favorite part was when we all spoke about what we took away from the video and expressed what God told us about seeking Him. I got a little emotional because it is not always tangible to see the impact of what God is creating through me. But as everyone spoke, I saw a glow in them; they were fired up and ready to seek God on another level.
Which was ideal for the next assignment God placed on my heart. We are doing a SEEK HIM FIRST consecration that started on March 3, 2023. For 90 days, we will seek God according to what the Bible says and eliminate social media, youtube, and whatever else God says has become a distraction to us.
If you want to do it, go right ahead and get started now. It is never too late to pursue God. Even if you are reading this way after the date it was posted. However, if that is the case, and you don't want to seek God by yourself, I get it; join the RTB community for more events and conversations.
