Help Us To Not Compare Ourselves To Others

Dear Lord,

You made us different, while each of us still takes on Your image. If we can soak that in, we would understand how sufficient we all are, and from birth we have always been.

So we humble ourselves, asking for forgiveness for all those times we compared ourselves to each other’s gifts while hiding our own. Accepting lies of the enemy that say we are not as loved, while we lose focus on what’s important, the kingdom.

Help us understand that our identity is in You. Our gifts are from You. We find our purpose in You. So if we first seek You, You will order our steps and make the difference.

Speak to our insecurities. Deliver us from the lies that keep us unsatisfied with the life you have given us. Help us stand tall on Your promises. Help us know that we are more than conquers, and what we have that no one else has, is what the world is waiting on.

In Jesus's name, amen.
