Anxiety is on a rise. But we can always find peace in Your word that tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to You.
So we humble ourselves and request wisdom. Something You give freely to anyone who seeks it. We ask for wisdom and clarity over our personal issues unique to our lives.
Some may deal with being new parents in this season. Others may struggle with the loss of their children, or parents. There are many who do not know when their next meal will come. Someone lost their job. Someone lost their home. Someone lost hope. Depression is weighing on Your people’s shoulders as a part of their new normal. Fear of what will happen next has become the conversation.
There are all kinds of feelings and energy that we are dealing with. Some people say we should sit and feel it. If we are angry, feeling misunderstood, hurt, frustrated, that it should not scare us to embrace it. But we ask God that You give us Wisdom and clarity on what You say to do when we come against various trails. Help us search Your word for the truth and for the tools to get us through.
Remind us of the power You gave us, and bring back to our remembrance that You never said we would not go through anything, but You said You would be there. You didn’t say that weapons would not form, but You said they won’t prosper. And that we are more than conquers through Jesus Christ.
Let Your word be what we believe so much so it becomes our nature. So much so that when we opened our mouth Your word flows, despite all that surrounds us.
In Jesus’s name, amen.
